God has called us together at Pleasant View Lutheran Church
to share the Good News of Jesus Christ;
to Baptize in Christ's name;
to Celebrate Holy Communion;
to welcome all who enter here;
to encourage each person's ministry;
to reach out to our community;
to share our many blessings.
Please join us in our journey of spiritual growth and Christian fellowship.
Ways to Join Our Family:
Baptism
We believe that baptism is a gift of grace. We therefore baptize infants, children, and adults. Unbaptized persons, who, after a period of instruction and nurture, confess thier faith in Christ, are baptized in he name of the Triune God, and received as members.
Transfer
For members of other Lutheran congregations, a letter of transfer is requested from the former congregation.
Affirmation of Faith
For baptized members of other Christian congregations or baptized persons returning to an active faith life after being absent from a congregational home, they publicly express their faith and are received as members.
Pastor's instruction classes are offered for renewal and instruction in basic teachings of the Lutheran faith.
