  A Lutheran Is...a Christian who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of all humanity. Lutherans believe salvation comes by the grace of God, through faith in Christ Jesus, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, as revealed in Holy Scriptures.

Founded in 1844, Pleasant View is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Indiana-Kentucky Synod.

     As  brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, we are invited to love God and each other. Join our community and rejoice with us in the Good News  of Jesus Christ.
